What Net 90 means
"Net 90" means payment is due 90 calendar days after the invoice date. Weekends and holidays inside the period count toward the 90 days. The invoice date is day 0, and only the final date is usually moved if it lands on a non-business day.
Worked examples (United States holidays)
- Invoice dated Thursday, October 1, 2026: due Wednesday, December 30, 2026.
- Invoice dated Tuesday, November 3, 2026: due Monday, February 1, 2027. (Prefilled above.)
Neither date needs adjustment, but changing the invoice date by a day or two often lands on a weekend; the calculator shows when and why the date moved.
